A Fresh Look, Same Trusted Partnership

The California Housing Partnership invites you to explore our new website as we usher in a new look, new tools and new web address at:

Our new logo centers people in the affordable homes we help our partners finance and build and reminds us that we were founded by tenant lawyers and advocates more than 35 years ago to preserve people’s homes. The addition of the sun and solar panels recognizes the role our Sustainability team plays in helping to administer state and regional clean energy incentive programs that are furthering critical efforts to lower utility costs while contributing to the state’s climate goals.   

As part of this update, we have also officially removed the word “Corporation” from our organization name. For those of you who have known us as “CHPC” for many years, we realize that using “CHP” may take some time and raise some questions about connections with that other well known CHP, the California Highway Patrol. Rest assured that our team will not be giving out any tickets or enforcing any traffic laws anytime soon. 

What we will be doing is continuing to provide expert advice, training and resources on affordable housing finance, sustainability and policy. We will continue our role of being California’s “think- and do-tank,” providing practical solutions to complicated policy and technical questions.
