Jessica Hitchcock is New Leader of California Housing Partnership Research Team

I am pleased to announce that Jessica Hitchcock has joined the California Housing Partnership as our new Managing Director of Research. Jessica previously spent more than 15 years leading affordable housing policy research projects for state and local governments across California and nationally as a Principal for Urban Math and Vice President at BAE Urban Economics. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business and a Master of City Planning from UC Berkeley. She is a graduate of Coro’s Affordable Housing Leadership Network program.
Jessica is based in our San Francisco office and will be representing the Partnership’s research team at upcoming conferences and gatherings. Her email address is jhitchcock[at]calhousingpartnership[.]org.
Jessica is succeeding Anthony Vega as team leader as Anthony prepares to pursue life and career opportunities abroad. Anthony will continue working with the Partnership on a part-time basis to support the research team in this transition until May 29th. As the organization’s first ever Managing Director of Research, we thank Anthony deeply for all his contributions and the path he helped chart for the team. He pioneered the Equity Policy Fellows Program, which will host its fourth cohort this summer. He also led the expansion of our suite of Data Tools and general research capacity in support of our nonprofit and government partners. We wish him the best on his next adventure.
